Suzanne is a Clinical Psychologist with full membership of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). She completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University and her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at the University of New South Wales. She has been trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches so that she can draw upon a variety of strategies to suit individual needs. Her approach is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Positive Psychology and Narrative Therapy.
Suzanne is a warm and friendly psychologist who is passionate about facilitating change in people and empowering them to overcome their challenges. She has over 15 years’ professional experience working with people facing work-related mental health issues, injury and trauma following a car accident and those managing chronic pain. Suzanne has also assisted people to overcome suffering associated with anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, perinatal issues, stress, relationship difficulties and many other challenges. She has a special interest in the area of chronic pain and completed her Masters dissertation on this topic, as well as completing advanced level training in therapeutic approaches for chronic pain.
